Over the years we’ve done a lot of strange jobs.
For example, here’s one:
- Buy all the Wheaties boxes from two grocery stores (Kinda fun, lots of strange looks at the checkout!) and,
- Create a custom two-sided front for the box with new graphics that celebrate famous business success stories and,
- Ship to conference location. And do it, pronto!
- Oh yeah, make ‘em look real.
- Remove ALL the cereal, we don’t want people actually opening them and eating the contents.
All the graphics were color matched to the actual box and output in high quality ink jet. Hand assembly required to put them together, foam pellets to keep the boxes from crushing. It was brutal, but it got done, and it got done on time. The client was happy, which is always important.
The only real problem we were now faced with was: What do you do with 100 bags of boxless Wheaties?
Easy… We ate ‘em.
It took a while, but nobody bought breakfast for 6 months. Yeah, we do get some real perks in this crazy business…
