CCCP is the California Construction Contracting Program, a Caltrans/Small Business Development Center partnership.
The CCCP program is an attempt to increase competition and opportunity among its vendors. It offers free training and counseling to small and minority-owned businesses – to enhance their ability to bid on and win Caltrans state highway construction contracts. All in all, a great program.
Phillips Design created the identity, a website, and various promotional items. The identity posed an interesting problem, due to the long words – which make for a very long name. (This is pretty common for state entities, but we know how to handle it!)
